A: The MyoSpark is a medical device regulated by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The MyoSpark NR, when prescribed by a licensed physician, is FDA-cleared for:

• Relaxation of muscle spasms
• Prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy
• Increasing local blood circulation
• Muscle re-education
• Immediate post-surgical stimulation of calf muscles to prevent venous thrombosis
• Maintaining or increasing range of motion

A: The MyoSpark mobile app is available for smartphone or tablet devices with the following minimum specs:

• Android 13+, iOS 18+, or iPadOS 18+
• 4.0 in screen size or larger (for example, first generation iPhone SE or larger)
• Bluetooth 4.2+ (BLE)

A: The MyoSpark Fit and MyoSpark NR kits come with one MyoSpark stimulator for single kits and two MyoSpark stimulators for double kits. All kits come with small and medium electrodes, short and long stimulation cables, a charging cable and adapter, and a portable charging case.

A: The number of MyoSpark stimulators you need depends on your goals. Each stimulator is intended to stimulate the muscles on the limb segment it’s being worn on. For example, while wearing a MyoSpark on your thigh, you can stimulate your quadriceps and hamstrings on that leg. If you want to stimulate the upper and lower leg at the same time, you would want two MyoSparks. If you want to stimulate the upper and lower legs on both the left and right sides at the same time, you would want four MyoSparks.

A: Yes! That’s one of the benefits of the MyoSpark system. It’s modular and expandable up to six MyoSpark stimulators. We recommend purchasing a kit of one or two MyoSparks initially and then getting additional stimulators or kits as needed.

A: The MyoSpark Fit is intended to stimulate healthy muscle to improve muscle performance during your workouts and to enhance post-workout recovery. It is FDA-cleared but can be sold without a prescription. It comes with programs specifically designed to improve athletic performance and muscle recovery.
