FES Designed for Neurological Rehabilitation

MyoCycle Pro is a clinical Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) cycling system designed to help neurological rehabilitation programs deliver consistent, movement-based therapy.

By combining motor-assisted cycling with precisely timed electrical stimulation, MyoCycle enables patients to actively engage key muscle groups during exercise, even when voluntary movement is limited. This allows patients to participate in structured cycling sessions that support motor recovery, muscle activation, and cardiovascular conditioning.

Used in rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient neuro clinics, and VA facilities, the MyoCycle platform integrates easily into existing therapy programs while delivering the benefits of FES therapy without complex setup or specialized workflows.

Clinical Applications

MyoCycle systems are used across a wide range of neurological rehabilitation programs:

  • Spinal Cord Injury: Muscle activation, circulation, and cardiovascular conditioning
  • Stroke Rehabilitation: Coordinated lower extremity movement training
  • Multiple Sclerosis: Endurance and muscle activation support
  • Traumatic Brain Injury: Guided movement during early and ongoing recovery
  • Long-Term Rehabilitation Programs: Maintaining cardiovascular activity as part of ongoing care

Clinics may introduce MyoCycle early in rehabilitation or incorporate it into long-term therapy programs, depending on patient needs.

Built for Real-World Clinical Workflows

MyoCycle Pro was designed for daily use in busy rehabilitation environments.

Efficient Patient Setup

Patients can be positioned and prepared quickly, helping sessions stay on schedule and reducing clinician burden.

Intuitive Operation

Therapists can adjust stimulation and session parameters without highly specialized technical training. Multiple clinicians can use the system confidently as part of standard therapy routines.

Consistency Across Clinicians

Patient profiles store stimulation settings and session data, enabling continuity of care across providers and therapy sessions.

Engaging Visual Feedback

Real-time displays help patients understand and stay engaged during their therapy sessions.

Two Clinical Configurations to Fit Your Program

MyoCycle Pro

MyoCycle Pro delivers six channels of electrical stimulation designed to activate the primary muscle groups used in cycling.

Stimulation can be applied to:

  • Quadriceps
  • Hamstrings
  • Gluteal muscles

This configuration enables coordinated muscle activation during cycling while keeping setup simple and efficient for therapy teams.

MyoCycle Pro is an excellent option for clinics looking to introduce FES cycling into their neuro-rehabilitation programs with a straightforward, easy-to-use system.

Key Features

  • 6 channels of Functional Electrical Stimulation
  • Targets quads, hamstrings, and glutes
  • Motor-assisted therapeutic cycling
  • Simple setup for efficient therapy sessions
  • Patient profiles and session tracking

MyoCycle Pro Plus

MyoCycle Pro Plus expands the MyoCycle platform to provide 10 stimulation channels, enabling clinicians to activate additional muscle groups that support gait, posture, and lower-extremity control.

Additional stimulation targets include:

  • Lower leg muscles (anterior tibialis or gastrocnemius)
  • Trunk muscles (abdominals or back extensors) for postural stability

By incorporating these additional muscle groups, therapists can support more comprehensive neuromuscular training during cycling.

Walking Gait Training Mode

Walking Gait Mode helps patients practice lifting the toes during the swing phase of walking. This stimulation pattern coordinates stimulation to the tibialis anterior and the quadriceps to correct for foot drop and help with toe clearance during gait.

Integrated Heart Rate Monitoring

Connect to any Bluetooth-compatible heart rate monitor to display heart rate directly on the MyoCycle screen.

Key Features

  • 10 channels of Functional Electrical Stimulation
  • Additional stimulation for lower leg and trunk muscles
  • Walking gait training mode for dorsiflexion training
  • Bluetooth heart rate monitor integration
  • Includes all features of the MyoCycle Pro system
